CPR Components

* Maintain airway (nose, mouth and throat) unobstructed

* Artificial respiration (mouth to mouth) provides oxygen to the lungs where the victim is not breathing, mouth to mouth breathing, alternating with chest compressions in a specific sequence

* External heart massage, chest compression is taking place pressure on the chest wall, with hands placed on the midline at a specific point of the sternum to sink a few centimeters. When performed correctly, these compressions cause the heart to eject blood to other organs

* Call immediately for emergency medical service

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

CPR

Basic CPR is a series of elementary steps whose purpose is to sustain life while transporting the injured to a medical facility staffed and appropriate equipment for resuscitation advanced or final. These measures do not require deep knowledge or medical devices, but simple knowledge and the decision to carry them out. Anyone can learn this technique, often saving in these emergencies.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is performed when the concerned features cardiopulmonary arrest (sudden interruption of the heart pump function), it is an immediate life-threatening and can appear suddenly in people with prior health status acceptable, following an attack failure or an accident.
