
CPR Components
* Maintain airway (nose, mouth and throat) unobstructed
* Artificial respiration (mouth to mouth) provides oxygen to the lungs where the victim is not breathing, mouth to mouth breathing, alternating with chest compressions in a specific sequence
* External heart massage, chest compression is taking place pressure on the chest wall, with hands placed on the midline at a specific point of the sternum to sink a few centimeters. When performed correctly, these compressions cause the heart to eject blood to other organs
* Call immediately for emergency medical service
