One of the great questions of those who want to start exercising care is choosing what kind of sport. Well, first it would be advisable to explain that include both types of exercises.

 Aerobic

Aerobic exercises are those in which oxygen participates in the creation of energy. Are long lasting and low-medium intensity. These exercises such as running, cycling or doing lunges.

As for the anaerobic, are those in which glucose is bringing into action instead of oxygen. Are of shorter duration, but with a more substantial effort, like when doing weights or running small series performed at maximum speed.

Now begins the big question: what is best or how best fits what you want to achieve? Everything depends on the outcome which we would obtain, but it must be said that the ideal is to combine both.

With the first, spending more fat because the body uses as fuel when the stress is prolonged. For this is sometimes done when what you want is to lose or control weight. Keep in mind however, that fats do not begin to be burned until we 30 -40 minutes of exercise. Before, we only burn calories and lose some weight due to sweat, we will recover quickly to rehydrate. It is also the type of sport that benefits the cardiovascular system, so it is very good practice, although we restrict ourselves to walk.

But then, apart from lose or control your weight, you also need the muscles are toned and ready. And not just about aesthetics but for health.

There are also studies that indicate this type of exercise can also lose weight. The trick is that although fat is not lost during implementation, by activating the metabolism, burning energy that stays longer than with aerobic exercise.

In short, it is best to combine the two like this:

1. Start with warm up and flexibility exercises for 10 minutes to prepare and prevent injuries.
2. Do aerobic exercise for 25 to 30 minutes, this will help make the heart more efficient.
3. Make a series of anaerobic exercise to increase muscle tone.
4. It ends with 10 minutes of cooling with gentle movements to let your muscles relax and stretch.
